A car travels for about 20 km in the opposite, in full Raposo Tavares highway: couple dies.
The accident apparently caused by a drunk driver (or suspected suicide, but certainly uncontrolled) that went against the grain of the Raposo Tavares highway and the trampling of parent and child of only eight months in a square in Barueri, in Greater São Paulo, are examples that help understand the argument put forward yesterday by the psychologist and director of the Center for Applied Psychology Transit (Cepat), Salomão Rabinovich. He is convinced that most of the inhabitants of São Paulo and other large cities suffer from a social disease of high destructive power and often incurable, especially if combined with alcohol or drugs: it is stress.
For Rabinovich, the driver is one of the most frequent victims of stress and may become a cause of tragedies. According to the psychologist, there are proven cases of traffic accidents (intentional or not) motivated by people under severe stress. Of course this condition can manifest itself in various ways and places: at work, home, school, love life.
- "Is the economic crisis, fear of unemployment, lack of public safety there are many issues .... It is a social disease that can not be cured. It can generate violence, whether at home, on the football field, in transit. And it does not help against excessive legislation, which to facilitate corruption, "said Rabinovitch.
From the day-to-day strenuous city, some people may develop behavioral disorders. The psychologist emphasized that there are cases in which the driver "socially sick" can save similarities with the classic figure of the "raving mad". "Sometimes the person has a serious problem. It is not difficult to see them talking alone at the wheel. The stress is large. People think purely on macroeconomic issues and forget the next," he said.
Transformation - Second Rabinovich, there is, however, who do not speak alone and are highly social people in their daily lives. That is, until the moment when a minor accident occurs or an argument either in transit. According to the psychologist, this moment may come into play with a driver characteristic violent both in words as in attitude. "There are beatings amazes me that despite 30 years of occupation. There are people who use up a tire iron to impose their arguments. If haywire, damaging a neighbor's car and physically assault another driver," said Rabinovitch.

With so many emotional distress and losing, the consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs may be one step. Rabinovitch warning signs for people with serious mental disorders. "In some cases, alcohol and illegal drugs show people without emotional balance," he said. Not only that, there is a significant reduction in levels of response and perception of reality.
In the accident that occurred in Raposo Tavares, the author, Joseph Valdecir Follmann, 31, claimed to have drunk alcohol before the collision. The accident happened in the early hours of last Monday. Follman drove his Renault Clio for about 20 km in the opposite direction. Was caught by police road at km 36 and followed at a distance.

The family car was collected by Joseph Follman. Father and mother died and her daughter is hospitalized in serious condition.
Released by the hospital, Follman testified to the police and is arrested.
